everydaytaichi in Beijing, China
Beijing was our very first day’s outing as we began the most wonderful journey to such a far away land.
At the Temple of Heaven we could understand why it is regarded as the noblest example of religious architectures in all of China. It was the site where evperors came to worship heaven for a bountiful harvest.
We joined the hundreds of senior citizens who congregate to socialize as well as sing, dance, exercise, play games and relax and recreate the happy memories of Old China.
Our tour took us first to accomplish some very important business, to meet with some VIP’S. Three Tai Chi Masters dressed in their silk outfits met us as we had a cultural exchange.
We learned from the experts, the Masters in Yang Style Tai Chi at the special setting of the Temple of Heaven, where the majestic mountains and the beautiful Temple stand. Everyone was in awe.
What a nice way to spend our morning, learning something new to help us perfect our Tai Chi and making new friends with a common goal to keep us happy and healthy! A group also on tour joined us and did Tai Chi with us. They had traveled all the way from Belgium.
As we continue to travel the world, we fulfill our goal, to be life long learners in all the many new experiences we have and the new people we meet.
