everydaytaichi Luk Tung Kuen Kahala Mall
exercises with Evelyn Ting
from San Mateo...
a Hawaii Christmas 2011 Special!
Evelyn Ting from San Mateo, California led our Luk Tung Kuen, Kahala Mall class at center stage with the mall’s spectacular backdrop of its signature poinsettia Christmas Tree.
As a guest instructor, Evelyn, true to form, did a great job in explaining and demonstrating the movements. She has studied with Master Ha Khin in Hong Kong numerous times since 2005.
It’s always nice to be able to see and experience how others have their unique way of doing the same exercise we do.
I have known Evelyn for nearly 6 years now. It’s amazing to think that we met each other online and through many emails and long distance calls and became friends. I first met her in person at Kahala Mall about 4 years ago. Then our paths crossed again in April 2011 when we were in Hong Kong. She had made arrangements to meet us in Hong Kong to take us to Master Ha Khin. However, due to the volcano eruption in Europe, Evelyn could not fly out from Italy where she was visiting. But in October 2011 we again met her in San Mateo and did LTK with her group in California.
Mahalo, Evelyn on a job well done!! Your mission to spread LTK throughout the world is impressive.
We will continue to keep in touch through Facebook as you travel the world and diligently post pictures for us to enjoy!
