and enjoys the wetlands nearby
We next took a road trip and visited our home in Roseville, just outside of Sacramento. Each morning we walked along the marshlands and enjoyed nature at its best. We saw ducks swimming, geese honking at us overhead, blackbirds, and other species of all kinds. We even heard and saw pheasants flying. The jackrabbits were also out looking for their morning meals. We also tracked snails crawling along our path. The cool morning breeze made us even more aware of the many wild flowers of various hues and the graceful willow trees.
It’s always very nice to go on a nature walk around our residence in Roseville, California. As we walk along the nature trail we are surrounded by the wetlands and many creatures and flora of the creek We were pleasantly greeted by pheasants with their distinctive call and stature as they flew out from the bushes. Then, right before us was a flock of geese flying up above us in a wedge formation we have often seen in books or on television.
