everydaytaichi highlights special events
Another bonus to doing Tai Chi with others, is the social aspect of sharing and getting to know people who come together to improve their health. We have the opportunity to meet people of various backgrounds and walks of life. Together, we meet many interesting people and open our minds to the multitude of different ideas and activities which help us to be life long learners.
Our Special Events Album is where we try to document and keep our activities alive through BLOGS, videos and photographs that are exciting, pertinent, and interesting to our Tai Chi Family. Learn more about the many interesting experiences that have occurred throughout the years by clicking on the hyperlinked captions.

First Anniversary 10-7-2010October 7, 2010 is a very important date for two reasons:
It marks our first anniversary of our website everydaytaichi.org. My mother turns 94 years old on this date too! Our website which was launched on this auspicious day, October 7, 2009. I enjoy creating our website in the best way I know how so that I can share our Tai Chi to everyone throughout the world. Lucy at Central Park, CaliforniaOur early morning curiosity to see Yang Style Tai Chi at Central Park proved to be a once in a life time experience! We participated in Sifu David Chin's class. It was a special visit because Lucy was called upon to lead David's Tai Chi class. David showed us a video clip he had taped on his cell phone of a Honolulu group doing LTK. We quickly recognized it was at Kahala Mall and Lucy was teaching. What a coincidence that made us feel that the world we live in connects us to others elsewhere and made our visit to San Mateo even more special.

Ken's Retirement 12-2011Ken's career as a physician for 33 years in Honolulu was a timely event for our family.
Along with his love of nature which includes , gardening, and cooking, Ken will be an integral part of our Tai Chi Classes. He learned Tai Chi a few years before I was even interested. So with his background and expertise, I know that our Tai Chi instructions will be that more enriched with his view point in knowing Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and his medical background. Ken, welcome on board!! Luk Tung Kuen Kahala MallEvelyn Ting from San Mateo, California led our Luk Tung Kuen, Kahala Mall class at center stage with the spectacular backdrop of its signature poinsettia Christmas Tree. To see more Luk Tung Kuen updates, visit Evelyn’s website: luktungkuen.org.

Ken & Victor Enjoy the BeachDoing Tai Chi is like the way the tako or octopus moves. Movements are slow, continuous, smooth, slithering and gliding, quiet and soft and steady. Doing Tai Chi brings you closer to nature such as when you walk the reef and enjoy the company of friends. You learn to be patient and you persevere.

Aloha Oe...until we meet again!
Farewell, Genie. Our trip to China will always be remembered. We wish you well as you relocate and continue to learn more Tai Chi in Washington D.C.
Lucy does LTK in Hong KongAfter touring China, we took a side trip to Hong Kong, so that we could do Luk Tung Kuen at Kowloon Park. Unfortunately, Evelyn, who was preparing for our Luk Tung Kuen Hawaii meeting with Master Hah Kinh in Hong Kong was delayed in Europe due to the volcano eruption in Iceland.
