Every Day Tai Chi 5th Annual World Tai Chi Day at Kahala Mall
Ken, Lucy and Victor work together "everyday" as a super production team to create unique video projects of super quality for our local community media, Olelo. Our partnership with Olelo has been another great journey for nearly 6 years. It has become a way of life for us!
Click on the play arrow to see our performance with a view from two camera angles. We often multi cam all our video projects so that viewers can see the finer details of us in motion as we play tai chi.
As you watch the above video, take special note: at 54:35 minutes into the video, a white pigeon appears on the scene, as if the sound of our birds chirping on our music is calling him to play tai chi with us...or is his appearance signify an omen, like the white dove of peace?
The bird appears in the video clip below.
What a pleasant surprise! A gift of peace and happiness joined us in our finale as we were playing tai chi in celebration of World Tai Chi Day 2018 in Hawaii.
We are inside Kahala Mall when this amazing occurrence took place. Could our tai chi music with the sounds of birds on our CD attract this pigeon to come right into the front of us as we performed? It seems like a nice omen that it should appear before us!

Saturday, April 28, 2018 was our biggest tai chi event of the year. Today, marked our 5th annual program at center stage area of Kahala Mall. Our production team arrived at 7AM for our 930 performance. We felt that our program was the BEST so far! Our students performed very, very well. Everyone did their best to be in sync, in spite of a mix group of students, a few who are new to tai chi and others with lots of experience. Due to a recent newspaper article featuring Lucy and her tai chi background many people attended our event with enthusiasm and interest.
Mahalo to Olelo who loaned us the two BRAND NEW Sony NX5R video cameras. Our partnership as volunteer producers for our local community media has helped us fulfill our mission to share tai chi to our community, as well as to reach out to others, globally.

Our dim sum luncheon brought the perfect closure to our big event where we enjoyed the company of our tai chi family!
Don't forget...SEE you next year, the last Saturday in April 2019, for our 6th annual World Tai Chi Day at Kahala Mall!
