Luncheon today at the Ala Moana Hotel was full of entertainment including magic show, singing, line dancing which even included some of our Kahala Mall and Hawaii Kai LTKers, lucky number, listening to speeches from various dignitaries and plain ol' renewing of friendship, eating and relaxing. What a nice change of pace as we took a day off from NVMS non-instructional Tai Chi class.

Over a period of time we have been trying to be more caring and sensitive to nature to do our part in saving the environment. We installed a solar water heater about 5 years ago. Soon after starting my career as a Tai Chi instructor in 2008 we decided to get a hybrid car. Now, 4 years later, we installed photovoltaic panels to trim our electric bill. Besides that, we acquired an electric car to take advantage of the sun's energy from our PV system. We feel that to "Go Green" is yet another important factor that goes well with what we believe and practice in doing Tai Chi. We try to stay in tune with nature and do what we feel is the best that we can do.
Kiyo and Laura Itokazu performed Yang Style Tai Chi for their fellowship group. Our presentation included Luk Tung Kuen as well. Both also cooked a nice supper on top of that. Mahalo, for doing such a great job, Kiyo and Laura. See their Tai Chi on YouTube.
