Today marks one week ago that we returned from our Alaska cruise. And today, a fresh sockeye salmon arrived at our doorstep!! As you all know everydaytaichi ken loves fishing. Our trip to Alaska did not allow him to go fishing for salmon. But everydaytaichi lucy former student's dad just came back from Alaska last night and delivered this beautiful 5 pound sockeye salmon he caught!! It seems so timely and special for this act of generosity to occur. Mahalo to Kevin and his family for sharing your catch and Alaska fishing adventures with us. We are enjoying salmon sashimi tonight...sweet, fresh, rich and such a special treat!!  everydaytaichi continues sharing and maintaining her website! At a sit down dinner at the " girls nite out," lucy was serenaded to the song, " One in a Million."  Noni, our on board tai chi student, holds the bowling ball on a T Step with lucy & ken. Some trivia about our 4 families:There were a total of 5 physicians to keep us healthy, a homemaker, a law professor, and 2 tai chi teachers. There were 6 children ranging from 7 months to age 12. Our homes are around the US: Oklahoma, New York, Maui and Oahu. Theresa, Joe, Dave and Les were volunteers at the same outreach program for immigrants during their Harvard undergraduate years almost 20 years ago!!  Our travel family consisted of our Maui son and his Harvard friends and their families. Our daughter in law Susan was master planner in getting the best for our buck!!  If you do not have peace within yourself learning cannot take place.

Click on picture to see current lesson for Thursday classes      Lucy took time our from her computer class to do Cloud Hands at the Apple Store at Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo, California.  What a perfect place to do some tai chi in the South Garden, Nanyuan, in Taiwan. 
We will be watching the fireworks at 8pm in our neighborhood. The aerials will be shot from a barge at Maunalua Bay at Koko Head.
