 What a beauty of a papio...Stu's catch of the day while on vacation in Honolulu from Irvine, California.   Seven and a half pounds of tako...but one 2 pounder got away!!  Please join us as everydaytaichi students perform at NBC Exhibition Hall on November 22 at 930AM.

Dr. Joseph Young was inaugurated as the Honorary Mayor of Chinatown last night at the Chinese Cultural Plaza among a huge crowd of well wishers. Mayor Kirk Caldwell and the city council staff spoke of our everydaytaichi student and his endless contribution to the Chinatown community. He is appropriately nicknamed, the Mighty Joe Young. His wife, Barbara was also recognized as was his family. After the colorful swearing in ceremony, everyone gathered for for another festive dinner banquet of elaborate Chinese entrees with music, distinguished guests and friendship all stemming from the numerous lives The Honorable Dr. Joseph Young has touched in his impressive career! See Special Events for more memories.   lucy was honored last night at Olelo 25th Anniversary & Volunteer Awards Banquet. She was chosen as a "Rookie of the Year" based upon over 100 tai chi videos produced and aired on Olelo. Within a period of 8 months lucy grew quickly from a monthly, next to a bi-monthly, then to a weekly series.
"Play Tai Chi" is co produced by everydaytaichi Ken and Victor. Together, our "EveryDay TaiChi " program series airs weekly on Olelo Channel 54 on Tuesdays 8AM and Thursdays 6:30PM. Our newest project, "Tai Chi Around the World" is also an integral part of our tai chi mission for community comittment. Next year from January 2015 our regular tai chi program will be aired as a one hour weekly series. Olelo 25th anniversary celebration was held at the Hawaii Convention Center with outstanding hula halau and The Touch of Gold. KINE radio station Mele Apana and Dave Lancaster were our MC's who kept us laughing! Click here for more memories of this Special Event.
