guava, lemon, orange, kale, carrot, mint Watercress tofu salad has always been a favorite of mine. Today ken harvested his watercress and along with our volunteer tomato, home grown ginger, here is a beautiful salad!
To it I added homemade chive vinegar. Wish you were here to taste it!! Nature's beautiful color combinations catches Lucy's eye as soon as she steps out to walk at 6AM ...9/3/2017 The cool air early this morning helped to bring out the pinks and lavender of the sky. This view alerted me to see what other color combos there are in nature as I began my Sunday routine. The stately Bird of Paradise reminded me that we are lucky to live in Hawaii! The pinks against the soft blues made me aware that we need to tune into nature more often...it's telling us something! I didn't have to go far to find more combos right in our front yard! Have a great Sunday. It's not too late to take the time to smell the roses!
Chinese swamp cabbage were harvested from ken's aquaponic garden then chopped up and stir fried with garlic and fermented bean curd...wish you could have tasted it!
