For my 830AM appointment I had to make a BIG decision ... what was more "fashionable!" This one or that one? I chose the face shield mainly bc I would be in a hospital clinic setting.
At 3pm Andrew and Sophia are all packed up and at the front door "debriefing" after a full day of ZOOM classes and 3 straight days from 630-3pm at Popo's. Sophia sits at her desk that Tai Tai & Tai Gung used as their kitchen table. It was a unfinished piece of furniture that ken built and stained for them. Her "just right" chair has a bit of a history, too! It is one of 4 chairs that were sent from San Francisco to a family friend. We inherited the chairs from David and Diane. And, guess what? Ken also refinished them, too! While Andrew has his own study room, our original, designated computer room where our own children did their computer work when they too atttended Iolani. As youi might be able to see, Andrew is not only using his school iPad but he has Popo's older MacBook Pro also lit up for multi-tasking: doing research as well as printing. Our printer is also on his desk. This huge, over size office desk also has a bit of family history! It originally was my Uncle Pershing Lo's office desk when he practice psychiatry in Honolulu!! By the piano area, Andrew is ready for his cello class after lunch! The paperwork you see above are for Popo incase Sophia needs help with logging into her various apps!
Yeh, right, Sophia has had NO trouble getting online ... thank goodness, SAVE, Popo from stressing out! Also, note, Sophia in her relaxed distance learning posture!! We are very fortunate that we can be here for them! |
