Day #5 of hunkering down...we intend not to break our record until there is an all clear signal!3/18/2020 Popo and Gungie have temporarily changed their routine and obeying CDC orders for people older than 60 years old be extra careful in the midst of COVID-19. This change of pace has not hampered us in that we find joy in keeping busy and helping and supporting our family but at the same time practicing social distancing. Here, you see, Ken, sharpening and cleaning his tools outside on the patio where our grandchildren would be building their lego creations. Lucy, spent over 3 hours in the kitchen and enjoyed it all. Besides French toast, linguine and fettuccini pesto pasta, fried brown rice with kale & eggs... I also sneaked in fresh plug of ginger and turmeric as well as garlic for that extra punch. and coconut tapioca were on her "to-do" list for the day. In keeping with our determination to keep contact
even with family to the very minimum, disposable containers were used to pack their "goody bags" which were left for a drive by pick up. This is exactly what our family physicians have ordered!! We strive to be good patients!
