What is more interesting is when I called the cranberry farm to schedule a tour, I was told they no longer give tours! However, a group of business men from Japan, representing Asahi were visiting and that we could join their tour. We were told they were thinking of marketing a red drink, using cranberries as a base. What a great opportunity to be at the bog and see how the cranberries were raked together, fluffed up to sift through the good berries and how the conveyor sorted them into various bins. The whole process was magnified by the sight of the entire bog full of pretty pinkish red berries floating in the sea, so inviting and tempting to see!
