Lucy demonstrates basic feet alignment for tai chi: T-Stance, L-Stance, Bow Stance, Sit Back-Sit Down, Twist Step; Golden Cockerel, and Kick Out
Sit Back, Sit Down
Root down, firm down on your back foot
L Stance...if you drag back your forward foot there should be a gap or space between the 2 feet.
Sit Back, Sit Down...what you do on one side you do on the other side.
Golden Cockerel stands on the right,..shift weight to the right, left foot comes towards the center, pushes down at the same time left hand comes to the center and goes up simultaneously.
Right hand on the outside of the cross, Kick out right, follow your kick with your right hand, left hand counter balances by going in the opposite direction.
Kick out left, follow your kick with your left hand, counter balance by going in the opposite direction with your right hand.
Don't forget to wear your mittens!
